Persuasive Speeches!!

Choose a topic you feel strongly about, or if you are really stuck you can do it on why every body should have a pet.

We will be writing speeches in class in week 8, but you can come up with ideas at home if you wish. When you are practising your speech, practise using body language, expression in you voice and facial expression to show that you believe in what you are saying.

We have been learning about the customs, traditions and culture of Maori people and the marae. This is Ava and Leo helping to label the parts of a marae. We learnt that the Wharenui building represents the peoples ancestors body.
